HELP ME FIND CISCO, MY MISSING DOUBLE YELLOW HEAD AMAZON BY Joni Lisa, I have no words to sat how happy I am that you answered me.You are the first glimmer of hope I've had in years. It has been years since I've seen my Cisco. I don't know if her head turned all yellow or not. The last time I saw her,her head was getting yellow 1/2 way down over head. It was over 20 years ago. My pictures have been stored for years,so I can't send a picture. Your offer to put my plea for closure on you web site brought tears to my eyes. I don't know how to thank you,but I bless you,God will bless you too. I don't know how long you've had your Double Yellow,but you know how wonderful they are. Please keep in touch. You can put this on your web. Missing this Mexican Double Yellow Head.(NEED CLOSURE.) Lost by a horriable accident on Oahu, Hawaii in 1982 or so.. No Blame. I lost my Cisco bird my child, that I reared from an egg. She was about 20 years old when this accident happened. She could be anywhere by now with any name,maybe Hawaiian. I don't know how yellow her head is by now. I have never given up hope to find my baby, my child and constant companion. She is a great talker. Her catch phrase was "Super Bird Weee",with wings flapping. She picks up her foot and says" choocy choocy coo". If shown a finger(instead of an arm),she'll ask "Umm,is that good?" She laughs and was very happy parrot. Please I need is closure on this matter. I need to know she is happy and loved. I need to see her,so we can both have closure. I need to explain to her how this accident happened. I can feel her out there and I know she can feel me too. I dream of Cisco every night. I'm sure she also dreams of me. I wake up in tears constantly. I know she'll out live me. I can no longer travel back and forth from the mainland to find her. I got close ,on one of the many trips to Hawaii trying to find who has her. There is or was a Bird Man there. He has a lot of parrots for tourists to take pictures with. I asked him if he knew this parrot. He knew her and ran from me. He knew that I'm disabled, but I tried to run anyway. I lost. Someone please hear plea for closure before I die.
