11/8/13*Kiki I received a call from a gentleman named Tony, who informed me that he had rescued a bird from his roof. After some research, he determined the bird to be a pineapple conure, a type that I hadn’t known to exist. Click Here to meet Kiki

2000*Coco Medium Sulphur Crested Cockatoo- I came home from work one day to find this medium sulphur crested cockatoo in a cage, in my dining room, with a hugh, gaping infected wound in his chest.Click Here to meet Coco

2000*Dovey & the Pigeon A Dove and A Pigeon- I received a call from a wildlife rehabilitator, located in Westchester County, last December, who needed to place a cockatiel and a pigeon. I usually would not take in a pigeon, but I know of a local breeder, who agreed to take the pigeon, so I said I would place him. The dove was a surprise.Click Here to meet Dovey & the Pigeon

2001*Beakless B&G Macaw- It was about 1PM and an unmarked police car pulled up to my driveway. An officer of the Suffolk County Police Department had stopped by to advise us that a macaw was on the loose.
